Hello Everyone,
On Sunday night you made an oath to God that you will live a life of purity for the next 6 months, with a desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Congratulations, that decision has now provided you with membership in an exclusive community called the “Circle of Champions”.
Over the course of the next six months, you will be guided, mentored and provided access to specific events and activities that are designed to ensure that you will be successful in your walk. More details are to come over the next few days, but here is an outline:
- Gideon’s Champions and Esther’s Purifiers rubber wristbands as a daily reminder of the commitment
- Monthly “Circle of Champions” events – September’s event will be titled
- Connection to a “Guardian” – an adult who will act as a mentor and provide support for the circle of champions
- Access to Champion’s Hall – an online community to celebrating successes and key milestones
- Daily e-mails providing support, guidance and instruction
As a reminder, here are the specifics of the Oath and an overview of the circle of champions:
Mission:
Create a group of exclusive youth that are encouraged to live a life of purity for a minimum of 6 months in order to prepare themselves to be filled with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit in order to be a Christian champion in their generation.
Values:
The spirit of our oath; value purity of our bodies and mind; discipleship
Oath & Guidelines:
- Duration of 6 months
- Not engage in any inappropriate activity that goes against the scriptures
- No sexual activity including kissing, petting etc
- Turn off all audio or video that has any content that in your spirit is deemed inappropriate
- Will leave any place of gathering where activities are deemed ungodly or unproductive
- Refrain from any conversation that is ungodly or inappropriate
- Will not send or reply to any email or text that does not promote purity
- Will not play any video games that promotes excessive violence and cripples your spirit
- Will attend all spiritual meetings in my local church as long as I am not otherwise engaged in another important activity such as work, school etc.
All champions are encouraged to engage in prayer at least 2-3 times each day, read our bible once each day and do some kind of fasting at least once each week.
Next Steps:
- Visit the Raise the Praise website and create a user name and password for the message board – this will allow you access to “Champion’s Hall.”
- Champion’s Hall is our online community to ask questions, share success and to stay connected with the other Champions.
- CLICK HERE to be connected to the message board.
- In the upper left hand corner you will see “user name” and “password” – under there you will see “Forgot your password? Forgot your username? Create an account” > Click on Create an Account to register
- You will only see Champions hall after you have registered and been added to the group by the website administrator
- Add September 9th, 2011 to your calendar – it will be the 1st meeting of the circle of champions

I am confident that by the grace of God and your focus on commitment, purity and purpose that you will be successful in being a champion and overcoming the wiles of the enemy. You will grow spiritually and be successful in achieving your spiritual goals.
